Passion That Shows
The owner, Mark Richland, has over 30 years' experience which began taking shape in the late 1980s as he was influenced by his grandfather and uncle who built and refinished furniture. Mark's passion began with restoring antiques authentically using old-world techniques.
His work expanded into residential and commercial upholstery and furniture restoration. He assembled and led a skilled team of craftsmen who worked with well-known designers and did custom work for restaurants and large hotel chains in New York City and New Jersey.
Mark found his true passion as he turned his efforts to marine upholstery and yacht interiors. He spent a few years doing production work for some of the major yachting companies. That is where he mastered the skills that brought out his true creative side.
Over the past 15 years, our owner, Mark Richland, has established himself as a true craftsman and shifted his focus to yacht remodeling and interior design. Along with this transition, he has begun to pass his skills on to his son, Adam, and both show their passion in the work they do.
